We have a variety of shapes of our cakes now, from round to rectangular, heart-shaped to cartoon character, anime, animals, etc. But other still prefer the traditional round, which symbolize the cyclical nature of life, the sun & moon, this is also why cakes are always present during important events, celebration, and festivals. Highlighting the so-called NEW JOURNEY in life.

I've heard so much about their cakes, read some of their customer reviews, and talk some of their bonifide clients or what we called the
"suki" who patronize their breads and cakes. So, I got curious,  what's in there that make their customers say a lot of POSITIVE feedback about their cakes, especially the UBE CUSTARD CAKE.

Here comes December 18, 2020, my eldest daughter 21st birthday. And because it is still quarantine month, what's the best gift I can give is to surprise her with a birthday cake and again I message Papa P2. And I ordered their Top 2 best-seller, the CHOCO YEMA CAKE.


The cake has a higher price compared to their TOP 1 best-seller. And you know why? Because it's literally heavy! Imagine a Chocolate and a Yema in one. So, if you're both a Chocolate and Yema lover, try this cake. ❤❤

Moist chocolate cakes topped with a luscious yema frosting are perfectly right for you. This Choco-Yema cake is the perfect balance of chocolate and condensed milk in a decadent dessert.

🍰😋While yema,  if you are not familiar, yema is an addictive Filipino dessert  made of cooked condensed milk and eggs. It has a taste of an added bittersweet cream, maybe to add richness and to tame the taste a bit. It has a smooth and silky texture.

🥰🥰These choco-yema cake are divine in each bite. You will love it as treats at home, or box them up fancy and give away as a gift for friends, relatives or love ones.

Christmas Day is getting nearer, so I message Papa P2 to order COOKIES & CREAM. I got my reservation Dec. 16, ahead of their cutoff date Dec. 22.



Got curious with their Cookies & Cream Cake. I like the presentation, very minimalist like a Korean cake, very simple! 😊👌😉


It's an ordinary cake, but the taste is not bad. I prefer this taste, because the chocolate is just exactly right for us who have GERD, this is perfect for those who are not into chocolates (I mean not that 100% dark chocolate), added with cream filling. But in their presentation, it creates a rich, dark color chocolates in the cake, but the flavor is slightly bitter and it pairs so well with sweet.

As I said, it is super simple and utterly delicious for the price of P400 (add P49 for delivery), you will have the Best Ever Cookies and Cream Cake!

For New Year, I message Panadero Bakeshop again,  because I want to try their most-talked-about cake — the CHOCO FUDGE.


Same as Choco Yema Cake this cake weigh to heavy too!



A very chocolately, moist Choco Fudge Cake that is similar to choco yema cake, but not as dense. Baked with both melted chocolate and cocoa and topped with chocolate ganache with rainbow sprinkles, that makes your craving more satisfying!

Price is P400 (add P49 for delivery). 

Compared to Choco Yema, sorry to tell you this I'm not a huge fan of classic chocolate and yema. I find it too dense and doughy, and it gets stuck to the roof of my mouth 🤣😂🤪 and it's very mud-like but still taste yummy 😋😋 Oh! All are yummy indeed! Just my thoughts of all the Panadero Bakeshop Cake I've tasted.

For me, the Choco Yema I think is the so-called classic Chocolate Mud Cake because of has a bit of boost in it, while Choco Fudge still way fudgier. Maybe that's why Choco Yema has a higher price compared to the other Panadero Bakeshop Cakes.😋😘🤔

My Verdict:

It's so hard to find a cake for celebration that fits your budget. Right? Thanks to Panadero Bakeshop, they come out to this "Makamasa" style cake that help those people who are tight in budget but need to celebrate despite of economic situation amidst pandemic.

What I like about Panadero Bakeshop is their Customer Service. For me, even if you have the cheapest cake and sumptuous cake in town if you don't have quality service,  all are nothing! So, I salute Panadero Bakeshop for having people that are courteous and approachable. And for their riders, thanks so much for taking time to ask politely and professionally delivered my cake just in time.
