Bo's Coffee The Compound Davao City NOW OPEN!

Bo's Coffee started as a concept by founder Steve Benitez, who managed the family-run Ric's Barbecue on Ramos Street, Cebu City. Now, there's  a new Bo's Coffee branch, and it is located at The Compound in Davao City.

November 5. New branch opening of the well-loved local chain of coffee shops, an extension of every other Bo's Coffee.

It's distinctive in wood and earth colours. It should not be a surprise that it provides coffee aficionados a place to enjoy unique coffee offerings, as well as the best standard coffees. And take note they have the fastest WiFi connection plus the place is Instagrammable.

DAVAO AND DURIAN INSPIRED CEILING

Located at The Compound, Villa-Abrille St. (Formerly Juna Subd. St.) Davao City, Bo's Coffee blends in well with the corporate nature of its environment,  as well as providing a healthy reminder of the city. When you enter, you are greeted not just by the standard bar and register and the tall chair around the communal table, but also by an impressive ceiling design. This unique feature was influenced by the durian, an iconic fruit the province is famous for.

Added with the impressive wood carving of another Davao icon, the eagle, to heighten the local vibe.

The new branch is owned and managed by Ms. Samantha Liu, a native of Dumaguete City. She has been a Bo's Coffee franchisee for almost 10 years with 2 other branches in her home town. She moved to Davao after marrying a Davaoeño in 2016 and has embraced the city and its people bringing with her the RETURN OF BO'S to the city. She hopes Davao will receive the newest Bo's Coffee branch with the same welcoming arms as it did her when she first relocated to the promise land.

The first Bo's Coffee was opened by Mr. Steve Benitez in June 1996 with a small space in Ayala Centerville Cebu. Within eight months it had expanded to a coffee cart in SM City Cebu. By December 2018, it had 103 stores, including about 30 stores in Cebu and a branch in Doha, Qatar. Within the next two to three years, the coffee shop franchise plans to double its presence to at least 200 stores nationwide, including another 4 branches in Qatar.

This Pinoy atmosphere coffee shop also has a small kitchen where they whip up creative, healthy and well-priced meals. The coffee itself is excellent, and can be ordered to go or if you’d prefer to sit along with the impressive wood carving of Davao icons, the eagle and the famous fruit durian to heighten the local vibe.

Personally, I really love their ceiling (better find out why) and the place as well, both are intagrammable and take note the food & coffee are superb. They served great breakfast options as well, from 7am (and anytime needed by the customers they can still serve breakfast menu till the afternoon).

Open from Monday to Sunday.
Starting from 7am to Midnight.

The quaint coffee shop is located at The Compound, exactly at Unit 1, Bldg. A, The Compound, Carlos, Luis Villa Abrille Rd., formerly Juna Subdivision , Davao City.
